"What the world needs now is love, sweet love.."

So it is Valetines day...it is the day of love or of no love for some people especially me being that I have very few loves in my life. I didn't actually expect to really do anything on this day of love and I have never really done anything on Valentines day before..But I actually did something today. Maybe it wasn't the most grand of events, in fact it really wasn't that much at all but it was still fun and enjoyable which is all that counts...

Because as one of my favorite songs would say "what the world needs now is love sweet love its the only thing that we don't have enough of" Ahhh music to my ears I tell you what. You know if there was no hate in the world how would we know what love truely is? Well there is plenty of hate in the world but do we still know what true love is? Love can frustrate many of us like Ray Charles reading a Wheres Waldo book...if you know what I mean...I think the only way to figure out the solutions to these tough issues is to take a few risks...sure you might stick your head out too far and get it chopped off maybe once or twice...three times or whatever but the only way to advance is to get out of your comfort zone and experience new things. Right? This is applicable to anything besides love..But love is the topic of discussion on such a lovely day. But then there are those that just find love so easily or find anything so easily. The fates must smile on them I guess. But there must be something to be learned from going through so many hardships...

Friday Fates

And now its Friday. Fantastic Friday. It is Fun Friday, it's Feel Good Friday...Freakin Awesome Friday...Fabulous Friday...anyway you want to say it, it is Friday. Now if I were still a school-goin boy I would be happy that this would be the end of the school week but now that I'm just a regular workin boy and givin the fact that I seem to always work Saturdays then Friday really doesn't mark the end of anything for me so why am I happy that it's Friday? Well it's red pin night at the local bowling alley and oh how do I love red pin nights. You see, when the fabled red pin alligns exacty at the tip of the pin setup and if you just happen to roll a strike at that specific time you get a free game. Great huh?

Well...as fates may have it, I have had several chances over the past 5 weeks I've been and I have gotten zero free games..So they've definietly gotten their monies worth out of me. As I see it I'm due for free game, maybe two or make it three! And maybe one of those hot chicks that works the food bar will call my number that I leave. Yes, the fates are cheating me I believe..Oh sure the planets all align on a regular basis (as does the red pin) but nothing ever comes of it. You know if there really is such a thing as fate and if I am experiencing bad fate right now...is there going to be any good fate coming back around? I guess I will have to get back to you on that one..
