So I've finally actually finished the whole Book of Mormon and it only took me about a month. And it just looks like I used it as my coloring book because I used 5 different pencil colors to mark certain things like good things, bad things, warnings, promises, and instructions. Which took forever but it definitely helps. It's funny because it was actually pretty easy to read it all but I pretty much thought that it was impossible to do before. I guess the big difference was that I actually WANTED to read it and that seemed to make all the difference. Plus somehow I understood it a lot better than I ever have before.
I suppose this works the same way with everything in life. We really only truly accomplish something when we want to. Not when we have to or when we need to...The ability to achieve something must come from within us and it must be built upon self-desire and self motivation.
Now I just can't decide whether I should re-read it again or start on the Bible. Hah.
