Well hello again. I realize that my time between blogs is starting to extend a bit. I am sorry hopefully I will be able to write to you on a more regular basis once again. A few things have gone on since the last time I talked. For starters, Tyler has basically offered me a job to go work with him and his uncle for a paving company. I will start out earning like 16 or 18 dollars or something like that. Its construction work and its long and hard but that kind of money talks and I think I want to listen :) That means I will be quitting my cooking job at the golf course. John and Sean will probably understand my decision but Glen might not understand so well. I hate to leave them because that just means they have to work more and more when they want to be working less and less. But I have to do what I think I should do. I am also heavily considering going into the military, either the Marines or the National Guard. I have been meeting with recruiters occasionally and the benefits that you recieve from joining a military branch is tremendous. It is amazing how much they will give you. The oppurtunity to travel and the money benefits, full time pay while you train for your job and 100% college funding and just the whole experience of taking on and accomplishing something you want. Of course it would probably be the hardest thing I have ever done but I would say it would be worth it and very rewarding...if I decided to do it?
All of these things once again come down to change. Sometimes it sucks to go through with but it is a very necessary aspect of life. Changing jobs would be a change for the better. I am thoroughly sick of cooking but I have not been able to find a better job that will actually pay me more. And its sorta been the only thing I knew how to do. So the only thing left to do is change. I need to be able to do different things. I try not to allow myself to get too used to something. You get too lazy, too complacent and pretty soon you lose your excitement and great outlook on life. Joining the military would be one of the biggest changes I can do at the moment, which means it would also be very exciting and very rewarding. It is a great oppurtunity to travel, which I am always eager to do. Some of the jobs I am looking at going into offer 20-30,000 dollar bonuses. And you get job training for free. You get paid very well. You get to travel. You get to do things that you never would do in a civilian job. You also get to work your damn guts out too..hah. But I know a few people who have gone through it and if they can go through it I'm pretty sure I could...aka Travis Taylor, Randy Porter....I mean seriously if they can do it I think my little brother could! Well that is all for it is now time for me to be off to work.
Bye.
